Starting piano at age four, Samantha was formed in the Suzuki method, and later studied traditional methodology and theory. She was a five time Regional and Showcase winner at the Southern California Junior Bach Festival, and a six time gold medalist at the CMTA Holiday Festival. She earned her second Gold Cup from the National Federation of Music Clubs and was awarded the Senior Medallion, graduating from Level Ten of the Certificate of Merit Program. Samantha is a University of Dallas graduate in Economics and Music, and is a registered teacher with the Suzuki Association of the Americas.

Growing up in the Irish dance community, it was natural for Sam to develop a love for the accordion. She began at age eleven and never looked back. Among her various accordion distinctions, she is the 2015 Co. Sligo and Connacht Fleadh title holder on piano accordion and the 2013 Mid-Atlantic Fleadh title holder on both accordion and piano.

Starting Irish dance at age seven, Samantha quickly moved up the competitive ranks. As an Open Champion Irish dancer, she has competed regionally, nationally and overseas. After discovering Canadian step dancing, she earnestly embraced that rhythmic dance form and integrated it into her style. She also enjoys creating dance steps and choreographies. Samantha, T.C.R.G,. is an Irish dance instructor at the world-renowned Claddagh School of Irish Dance, in Ventura, CA.

Samantha has extensive experience teaching music and dance to students of all ages and abilities.
